Ellie McDoodle on the web

This is so cool, finding Ellie McDoodle in unexpected places.
Do you subscribe to Google Alerts in your name, and your book's name?
If so, you get surprised with occasional references to your work, like I was with this Detroit News article about kids' lit, mentioning both Ellie books.
If you're not yet a fan of Google Alerts, you will be.

I hadn't heard of the Blog "100 Scope Notes" until I saw it mentioned on Fuse #8; shortly after that I also heard it referred to by the fabulous Boni Ashburn. Useful endorsements, but it was the photos with Ellie unboxed that made me sure I'd found a new blog worth reading!!

Besides Google Alerts, you should also check out FaveBot.com — it can track keywords / phrases in podcasts, videos, blog posts, news articles, (new) books, etc. Plus it can find local events matching your keywords. You can track your output (results) on the site or via RSS feeds.
